Thought I would take a break from posting stuff about candles and share some photographs I've taken over the summer of the flowers in our garden...

Finally, I figured out how to make votives and actually remove them from the mold!

I am so thrilled!

All it took was about an half hour in the freezer and they came out just perfect.  Hardly any tugging or pulling on my part, they just popped right out!

Now I just have to get busy making more and figure out how I am going to package them...

then they will be up for sale in my shop.

A few weeks ago, I ordered everything I needed to start making votives...

Well, I've been working on them and I am really starting to get frustrated!  Everything goes fine with the pouring process, but I CANNOT remove the candle from the votive mold.  

I've been reading everything I can on votives and I can't seem to find anything that works. 

I've ruined several, by pulling out the wick with needle-nose pliers, while I was trying to pull it out...

I really wish I could find a method that works fine and doesn't ruin my candles.

Oh well, I guess I will just have to keep trying and crossing my fingers that I find a method that works for me!
